2nd measurement – field work of students in the Učka Nature Park
On May 15, 2024, as part of the course Pedagogy of Sustainable Development and as a research activity of the university scientific project of experienced scientists Environmental Identity and Well-being of Students (uniri-iskusni-drustv-23-196), the field work-teaching was conducted with the participation of 2nd year students of the university undergraduate course Early Childhood and Preschool Education and 4th year students of the university integrated undergraduate and graduate course Teacher study program Education.
At the field work, students were educated about biodiversity, human influence on the environment, connectedness to nature, the importance of flora and fauna, and the sustainability of the eco system in the Učka Nature Park, on the Land art trail “Strážica-Sapaćica”.
In addition to 70 students, project leader Dunja Anđić Ph.D., associate professor, vice dean(s) Prof. Sanja Tatalović Vorkapić Ph.D. and Jasminka Mezak Ph.D., lecturer Lucija Tomac and assistant Tena Pejčić also participated in the field work.
The measurement (2) of survey was carried out after the field work.
The project was supported by the Faculty of Teachers in Rijeka.
